Russian Circles and Helen Money live in Berlin

Back in November 2016, Russian Circles played in Berlin, and I had to design something for them. The concert was beyond great, and it took me too long to create this one. The inspiration came from a medieval painting that I saw during a trip to Prague. There was some story about the seven swords piercing a bleeding heart and a darkly hooded person holding it, but I don't remember what it was. But I decided to use as a visual reference to the poster as an interesting theme. Below you can see my design process and the illustrations that led to this poster.
