Meshuggah With Mantar and The Halo Effect at Columbiahalle
When Meshuggah came to Berlin early in 2024, I used a picture I took as a visual reference for a poster.
I used a medium format photo I took during a photo walk in West Berlin. I decided to try to capture an unusual view of the sculpture called Berlin" (Brigitte und Martin Matschinsky-Denninghoff).
I decided to duplicate and flip the image enough to create an abstract monster like The Mind Flayer in Stranger Things. Or something like that.
